Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy outlines the cancellation and refund procedures for services booked through TravelDesk.
1. GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to travel.desk@hotmail.co.in with the booking reference number.
2. AIR TICKET CANCELLATIONS

Note: Airline cancellation charges vary by carrier, fare type, and route. Promotional/discounted fares may be non-refundable.
3. HOTEL BOOKING CANCELLATIONS

Note: Some hotels have stricter cancellation policies, especially during peak seasons.
4. VISA ASSISTANCE
- Visa service fees are non-refundable once application processing has begun
- Embassy/consulate fees are non-refundable
5. REFUND PROCESSING
- Refund Timeline: Refunds will be initiated within 5-7 business days from the date of cancellation approval
- Refund Method: Refunds will be credited to the original payment source used for the transaction
- Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunds will be processed to the same card within 5-7 business days. Actual credit to your account may take additional 7-10 days or even more depending on your bank
- UPI/Net Banking: Refunds will be credited within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfer: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
6. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
The following are strictly non-refundable:
- Service fees for completed bookings
- Special/promotional fare tickets marked as non-refundable
- No-show charges
- Embassy/consulate visa fees
- Travel insurance premiums (once policy is issued)
- Same-day cancellations for confirmed services
7. FORCE MAJEURE
In case of cancellations due to events beyond control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, airline strikes):
- We will assist in rebooking or obtaining refunds as per service provider policies
- TravelDesk service fees may be waived or credited for future use
- Additional charges by service providers will apply as per their policies
8. GOVERNMENT TAXES & GST
Government taxes fees & GST applies at prevailing rates on all the charges mentioned in this policy.
9. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
- Email us at travel.desk@hotmail.co.in with:
- Subject: "Cancellation Request - [Booking Reference]"
- Your full name and contact details
- Booking reference number
- Reason for cancellation
- Preferred refund method (if different from original)
- You will receive acknowledgment within 24 hours
- Refund will be processed as per timelines mentioned above

11. AMENDMENTS
TravelDesk reserves the right to modify this policy. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
